HRP Intro Instructor
Deliver engaging and informative presentations covering various topics related to hunting in Oregon, including the reasons people hunt, the species in Oregon, hunting seasons, and locations for hunting different species. Educate participants on the different licenses, tags, and permits required for hunting in Oregon, as well as the application process and timelines for obtaining them. Teach the principles of fair chase and ethical hunting practices, emphasizing respect for wildlife, conservation ethics, and responsible hunting behavior. Provide information on the types of weapons, gear, and equipment needed for hunting. Offer guidance on additional resources, conservation funding sources, educational materials, workshops, mentorship programs, and next steps in pursuing their hunting journey.
- Instruction: Teach and instruct people of all ages.
- Event Support: Help manage registration and check-in, and conduct event set-up and tear-down of materials and equipment.
- Driving: Pick up and transport equipment when needed.
