Shooting Sports Instructor Registration

Support a variety of shooting sports Events, including black powder shooting techniques, firearm safety, marksmanship, and hunting ethics. Provide hands-on demonstrations and guidance to help participants improve their shooting proficiency and confidence. 

You will contribute to the development of shooting sports skills, hunting proficiency, and ethical hunting practices among participants. By providing quality instruction, mentorship, and logistical support, you will enhance the overall experience and safety of shooting sports enthusiasts and aspiring big game hunters in Oregon's outdoor community.

  • Event Support: Help manage registration and check-in, and conduct event set-up and tear-down of materials and equipment. 
  • Driving: Pick up and transport equipment when needed.

Physical Demands

  • • Working in indoor and outdoor settings
  • • Walking, sitting, standing, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and/or stooping motions for long periods of time
  • • Working with materials, gear, and heavy equipment (to include lifting, bending, pushing, and/or pulling)
  • • Walking on uneven, wet, muddy, and/or frozen ground
