In this hands-on ODFW workshop, participants will learn how to become more effective at observing their surroundings and develop the skills needed to efficiently use binoculars, spotting scopes, and tripods to locate game. Whether you are new to hunting or have years of experience, this class offers practical techniques and new perspectives to improve your ability to spot game in the field—whether during pre-season scouting or actively on a hunt.

All equipment is provided by ODFW.

This workshop is designed for adults ages 18 and older.

What To Bring

Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear
Water and snacks
Any additional gear for outdoor conditions
