Hunter Safety Field Day

This field day is the final step after completing the online Hunter Safety course. Students will review core topics, take part in firearm safety field exercises, complete a live-fire session, and finish with a multiple-choice exam.
Note: Youth under the age of 9 may struggle with the course material and may not have the physical strength needed to safely handle a firearm during a Field Day, particularly during muzzle control, loading, and unloading drills.

Students who complete all requirements will receive a temporary orange hunter safety card from the instructor to be carried in the field while hunting. A permanent card will be mailed, please enter a valid mailing address in the student account.
