Experience the excitement of waterfowl hunting in Southwest Oregon with this immersive, hands-on workshop! Whether you're new to waterfowl hunting or looking to refine your skills, this two-day event will provide the knowledge and experience you need to pursue ducks (& more) on your own.
DAY 1: The workshop begins with a classroom session covering waterfowl hunting seasons, regulations, habitat, and an overview of duck hunting techniques. Participants will then rotate through four interactive breakout sessions:
- Finding a Place to Hunt – Learn how to locate prime waterfowl hunting areas.
- Gear and Equipment – Understand the essential gear, from decoys to waders.
- Calling Practice – Develop calling techniques to bring ducks within range.
- Shotgun Skills for Waterfowl – Practice shooting techniques specific to duck hunting.
DAY 2: Practical Duck Hunt: this is a live mentored duck hunt where participants will put everything learned on day 1 into action from a duck blind.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have the confidence to head into the field with the skills they need for a successful hunt. If you’re ready to dive into the world of waterfowl hunting, this workshop will give you the skills and confidence to get started!
