Waterfowl Hunting Workshop for Adults (Southern OR)

Waterfowl hunting in Southern Oregon offers exciting and rewarding opportunities for hunters of all experience levels. Whether you're just getting started or looking to sharpen your skills, this hands-on workshop is designed to build the knowledge and confidence needed to pursue ducks independently.

The workshop begins with a classroom session covering waterfowl hunting seasons and regulations, habitat and migration patterns, and an overview of effective duck hunting strategies. Participants will then rotate through three interactive breakout sessions:

  • Finding a Place to Hunt – Learn how to identify productive waterfowl hunting areas and access public lands.
  • Gear and Equipment – Explore essential waterfowl gear, including decoys, blinds, calls, and appropriate clothing.
  • Calling Practice – Develop and refine calling techniques to effectively attract ducks within range.

By the end of the workshop, participants will leave with practical skills, a stronger understanding of waterfowl hunting, and the confidence to apply what they’ve learned in the field. If you're ready to explore waterfowl hunting in Southern Oregon, this workshop is a great place to begin.
