Turkey hunting in Central and Eastern Oregon offers a unique challenge and exciting opportunities for hunters. Whether you're new to turkey hunting or looking to sharpen your skills, this hands-on workshop for adults will give you the tools and knowledge to be successful.

The session starts with a classroom lecture covering turkey hunting seasons, regulations, habitat, and essential gear. Participants will then rotate through three hands-on breakout sessions:

Calling Practice – Learn how, when, and why to call turkeys.
Hunter’s Trail – A guided walkthrough of turkey hunting techniques, decoy placement, and must-have equipment.
Shotgun Setup – Pattern your shotgun, understand ammunition selection, and adjust your sights for a successful hunt.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have the confidence to head into the field and apply what you've learned. If you’re ready to experience turkey hunting in Central and Eastern Oregon, this workshop is the perfect way to get started!

What To Bring

Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear.
Personal shotgun (optional – loaners available).
Eye and ear protection (provided if needed).
Water and snacks.
Turkey calls (optional – provided for practice if needed).
