Registration for: Range Safety Officer

Oversee and ensure a safe and controlled environment for participants during live round firing range activities. you will teach participants the essential skills and protocols for safe firearm handling, range etiquette, and emergency procedures, emphasizing safety as the top priority at all times.

Conduct safety briefings before each shooting event to review range rules, safety guidelines, emergency procedures, first aid protocols, and evacuation plans. Address potential hazards, such as ricochets, crossfires, misfires, and unauthorized actions, and provide guidance on how to respond appropriately. Ensure that range equipment, safety barriers, target systems, signage, and communication devices are in proper working order and adequately maintained. Demonstrate safe firearm handling practices, range procedures, shooting techniques, and equipment usage to participants, serving as a role model for responsible and disciplined shooting behavior.

Contribute to creating a safe, welcoming, and educational environment for participants to develop their shooting skills, adhere to safety standards, and enjoy their shooting experiences responsibly.

  • Instruction: Teach and instruct people of all ages.
  • Event Support: Help manage registration and check-in, and conduct event set-up and tear-down of materials and equipment. 
  • Driving: Pick up and transport equipment when needed.
